Hey, Gregg,

Do me (us?0 a favor and explain your comment re: gravity being repulsive.

11/10/22 06:13 PM #1723

Gregg Wilson

Issac Newton explained, quite specifically, that gravity being attractive was impossible. He could not understand why anyone thought that. He explained that an "agent" would have to travel from one body to the next in order to transmit gravity. That agent had to possess mass and velocity. By arriving at and impacting the "second" object, that would be a force - repulsive.

The matter was resolved by Le Sage of France in about 1748. He proposed that the Universe would possess a universal gravitational flux of "particles" that impacted everything.

Further analysis has determined that these particles are many orders of magnitude smaller that a proton. They do not emit light and do not reflect light - so you cannot see them. Their estimated velocity is about twenty billion times the speed of light. If they were any slower, it would take them too long to go from body A to body B. The result would be that the planets would simply wander off and leave the solar system.

When the particles impact the Earth, they lose velocity. When they leave the Earth, they are slower than the particles coming to the Earth. That difference gives a gravitational "downward" effect on the Earth.

Bob, I  think Gregg's latest description about gravity still sounds like a logical "fit" to the conceptual system that I explained to you as a potential answer to your question about hypothetical UFO propulsion methods in multiple operating environments of air, water & space and observed structural body design features (or the lack of traditional physical flight/dive control surface subsystems.) I also worked on USN EM Gun kinetic energy defense system projects at LTV Aerospace in Texas. Texas universities have some excellent physical science research programs and produced highly specialised scientists. The academic scientist PhD's are fully intrgrated with the Texas aerospace research and development community. Interesting subject matter. Many unique magnetic and electric power technology applications have been hidden from us for decades.

I think NikolaTesla was more of a genious physicist and futurist than we have been led to believe. I think it would have been a different world if he had not been eliminated by the Austrian [Khazarian] Mafia cabal families and a US Government agency. Tesla was born in the country (now Serbia) that is believed to have initiated his lethal termination at a New York residence location in 1943.Westinghouse made a fortune off of Tesla inventions and patents. Nikola died financially bankrupt and basically homeless.

Cheers,

Al

Magnetism is where the random direction gravitational flux enters and passes through a material such as iron. The issue is where the crystal structure of the iron atoms causes the "gravitons" to become colinear in both directions. Once the gravitons leave the crystal structure of iron (other other metallic structures) they become dispersed in all directions as they collide with air molecules, etc.

However, if one can arrange the magnetic structure such that the gravitons go in one direction, then you have a propulsion system. There are examples where a magnetic sructure can seemingly levitate metal objects very close to them. This is simply a coordinated flow of gravitons counteracting the general, gravitational field of the Earth. There is no mystery at all here.

In hard outer space, a coordinated gravitational flux is not dispersed but goes in one direction. Therefore you have a successful propulsion system in outer space.

We have radio observatories trying to detect radio waves from other stars. There are two problems with this:

1) Radio waves expand outward and become weak. Hard to detect as "information".

2) The speed of light is actually quite slow. It takes years to reach even the closest star. Not practical as a means of communication.

However a "magnetic" beam of focussed gravitons does not disperse and travels at many millions of times of the velocity of light. Now, that is a practical means of communication between stars. The radio antenna boys are looking at the wrong medium.

Is Voyager utilizing this gravitational flux in it's travels?

Bob

Hi Bob,

No. Gravitons would pass completely the material of Voyager.

If one could construct a hollow cone made of deuterium, then gravitons impacting the inside of the cone would reflect backwards and push the cone in the direction of its tip. Any graviton that impacts the outer surface of the cone would be counteracted by another graviton traveling in the exact opposite direction. No propulsion from that.

Hi Bob,

This NASA website gives a summary of the Voyager I & II subsystems. The thrusters system (including fuel tanks) and the small nuclear power RTG's are the key maneuver components for spacecraft attitude control during its mission. Earth's gravity after launch was used to "sling shot" the two satellites into their mission trajectory paths betwen the solar system planets and moons of interest during the mission. Titan Centaur rockets launched both spacecraft. Centaur was the upper stage providing trajectory placement and injection boost energy before the spacecraft were released on their own with the attitude and articulation control maneuvering thrusters.

https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/spacecraft/

https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kiUR8TBUEiM/WiIo32cT8EI/AAAAAAABHRM/F2xExOv-xvI1IAmaLTcR4nSYZxMpG8TcgCLcBGAs/s1600/Voyager-1.jpg

the Voyagers' attiude control thrusters, two types, and in-situ space trajectory/flght path correction maneuvers are best described here:

https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/news/261/voyager-1-fires-up-thrusters-after-37-years/

Boeing worked on subsystems for the satellites during the NASA JPL Program. JPL assembled and inegrated the payloads onto the two satellites. Aerojet and Rocketdyne supplied thruster hardware. General Dynamics built the Centaur Upper Stage, provided spacecraft/upper stage interface/release hardware, and provided trajectory placement analysis. The USAF managed Martin Murietta Titan launch services from Cape Canaveral. I believe that the Titan first stage was selected because the Atlas rocket was less powerful for the initial mission trajectory boost requirements.

Current day space platforms use other types of plasma, ion, hot gas, or cold gas thrusters than those on the Voyagers. I think the Voyager thrusters were both hot and cold gas types. Activation power is provided by the spacecraft's Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators (RTG's).

I guess that I don't understand how gravitons are effected or not effected by certain emitted particles and metal material crystoline structures as you described, Gregg. I am missing something in your description of interactions and reactions. Do the gravitons pass through molecular structures without modifying their physical characteristics, energy levels, or form?

TMI? Sorry,  I get off on tangents...

Al

Hi Everybody,

I spent 51 years as a chemical engineer in training and then in practice. I came to a very different theory about atomic structure. It is known that molecules have very precise geometric structure. It logically follows that atoms have a specific structure. There is a light carrying medium. Light is a wave and a wave can only occur in a medium. Consider the light carrying medium much like ocean water except that it is usually a "vapor".  Much like water has the H2O molecule, the light carrying medium has a constituent called elysons. It can become a liquid.

There are no electrons. They do not exist. Their presumed functions are carried out by the light carrying medium in both vapor and liquid form. The presumed structure of an atom being a very, very tiny nucleus surrounded by a huge volume of orbiting electrons is nonsense. The nucleus is quite sizable. Contact between atoms is proton to proton.

Therefore a crystalline structure in iron is quite "solid". Gravitons entering an iron crystal  hit numerous protons and that crystal structure causes the gravitons to flow in a parallel manner - in both directions.

The contention that if the electron volume was removed and nuclei were "compacted", that this would lead to fantastic density and create a "million pound" object is nonsense. Deuterium has no opposing, outward force. So polydeuterium can be literally be a nuclear solid. It would be moderately more dense than osmium.

The graviton has only mass and velocity. Its nature does not change when impacting atomic solids. There is no interchange of energy in terms of heat, light, etc. Just velocity.

When gravitons impact a vapor light carrying medium there is a slight increase in the temperature of that medium. When the light carrying medium is in liquid form, that is a very different story. Electricity flowing in a copper wire is liquid light carrying medium.

Gregg & Al:

Thanks for the introductory tutorial in nuclear physics!

I spent time as a Health Physics Tech at Livermore after the Navy while going to college.  It was a fascinating place to work!  From a practical stand-point, safety precations for handling of radioactive material was divided between the type of "emitter" being used, so I became used to dealing with apha, beta and gamma as hazardous energy sources, each with their own particular effect on the human body.  Safety controls were established based on their particular energy deposition characteristics.  Your discussion put a whole different light on the subject!

I remember when the Explorers were launched, so it is fascinating to be around to see what became of them...so far!  I was impressed with the pictures of Pluto...I remember all the discussions about whether it was a planet or not: I was pulling for planet!

                                 The Sun

I am going to describe the Sun but first I will let another author speak for me:

Pierre-Marie Robitaille, Ph.D. at the Ohio State University, Columus, Ohio:

1) If the Sun were a vapor, there could not be a continuous thermal spectrum. The vapors of hydrogen, helium and so on radiate only specific bands of color. A liquid phase Sun can and does give off a continuous spectrum of color.

2) The Sun exhibits light darkening as one views from the center of the Sun to the edge. This is not possible with gas phase but is normal for a liquid phase.

3) If the Sun were gaseous, then the Sun would collapse inward under the pressure of gravity. A vapor pressure offsetting the push of gravity would absolutely require a liquid rigid surface and relative incompressibility is the characteristic of a liquid phase.

4) The specific density of the Sun is too high for it to be a vapor phase. But a liquid phase can easily account for the average of 1.4 grams per cubic centimeter.

5) The Sun exhibits properties of seismolgy. That is, pressure waves. However, the gaseous model of the Sun sets the density of the photosphere at 10^(-7) grams per cubic centimeter. This is an extreme vacuum and such a vacuum cannot exhibit seismic waves. A liquid phase Sun can easily show seismic waves.

6) With a solar flare, the Sun shows the propagation of waves much like a pebble thrown into water. This is impossible for a vapor phase, but obviously a property of a liquid phase.

7) The Sun is not a perfect sphere but is oblate. This is possible only if the solar density is relatively constant. It is not possible for a vapor phase but is obviously connsistent with a liquid phase.

8) Superheated liquid easily explains solar flares since they represent the boiling action of a liquid. A gaseous phase cannot have solar flares.

9) The Sun shows pronounced flows at the surface mostly in a horizontal direction whereas the corona shows flows in the vertical direction. This is equivalent to Earth's ocean and its atmosphere. This is not possible for a vapor phase Sun.

10) The Swedish Solar Telescope has taken images of the Sun's surface at high resolution in 3D. It shows valleys, canyons and walls.

His words, not mine.

Critical constants of hydrogen and helium show that they cannot alone be in liquid phase at the Sun's temperature. However, liquid light carrying medium can be and is the liquid phase Sun. There are, of course, hydrogen and helium atoms within the liquid phase Sun, but the major ingredient is deuterium. There is both nuclear fusion and nuclear fission within the Sun, but they are not what makes the Sun very hot and very bright.

It is the graviton flux impacting the liquid phase light carrying medium which makes it boiling hot.

Gregg,

So,  following your line of reasoning in this discussion, one might harness the gravitons velocity energy and flux reaction fields by attracting or directing gravitons into a purposely contructed "molecular" cavity of solid or liquid material that inluences the direction of the gravitons. Sort of a pushing effect on the host structure versus interacting with other structures in the host medium (objects in outer space, in an earth/planet atmosphere, in ocean water, etc.)? Does the flux field  direction or velocity define a charge of + or - status? Can high energy electro-magnetic fields influence gravitons? Does 'heavy water" in a container effect gravitons like some emitted nuclear radiation particles?

What is an electron microscope, and how does it work if electrons do not exist?

electron microscope

noun

  1. Any of a class of microscopes that use electrons rather than visible light to produce magnified images, especially of objects having dimensions smaller than the wavelengths of visible light, with linear magnification approaching or exceeding a million (106).
  2. Any of several forms of microscope that use a beam of electrons rather than one of light and thus has a much greater resolving power
  3. a microscope that is similar in purpose to a light microscope but achieves much greater resolving power by using a parallel beam of electrons to illuminate the object instead of a beam of light
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.

If there are no electrons, how does a large, high power chemical or gas dynamic laser system create the initial energy beam in the mixing plenum [cavity] before mirror amplification and final telescope beam control/ forming? I have been told that the laser power beam is created by electrons changing energy level positions and emitting high power "photons" during the lasing process. Think of the plenum as a small evacuated and uniquely-shaped ("tuned", so to speak) composite metal materials wind tunnel" filled with controlled ingrediant mixed gases without any mixed earth atmosphere gases present. Very expensive metal mirrors shape and and amplify the beam before the emission occurs from the directed energy device's output telescope. High power Solid state laser systems are another process description.

Just curious,  i'm not trying to debunk your theory about no electrons... just trying to understand how your physics units might work in my examples above. I am not a physics major but i'm interested in different hypotheses and these new studies on micro quantum mechanics units like 'muons' and such. We are alwaya learning. Real science advancements are achieved through validation & verfication lab investigations and repeatable experiments in a controlled environment with inovative lab R&D equipment.

Our son worked at Los Alamos labs after his service as a nuclear propulsion operator on Navy subs. We have both worked with Sandia Labs in the past, but his energy R&D project interfaces were more "hands on' systems and equipment (accelerator and remote sensing devices) technical hardware work than my technology maturity evaluation tasks for the Army RDEC's & DARPA on the FCS Program.

The essence of good science includes:

Testable hypotheses supported by data from falsifiable experiments which have been published in peer reviewed professional journals.

Make sure you find the following when reading about any scientific ideas:

  • Testable, well-defined, novel hypotheses that identify falsifiable experiments and data. Well-defined means there will be the language of math, not just terminology. A falsifiable experiment means that the experimental design can show through test results, whether the hypothesis is correct or incorrect.
  • Published, peer reviewed papers
  • Independently performed repetitions of experiments that include independently published, peer reviewed papers in top-tier professional journals.

Einstein’s General Relativity Theory has met all these criteria for the last 100 years. His radically new theory mathematically predicted solutions to many previously unsolved problems, including the precession of Mercury's orbit and the bending of light around mass. It also states that the speed of light is constant for all observers in all frames of reference, and this has been experimentally confirmed every time. Any new hypothesis must either agree with this theory's predictions, or show, with data, how it is in error.

Read Gary Taubes wonderful book “Bad Science” to understand what happens when two chemists, Pons and Fleischman, ignore these fundamental concepts and attempt to convince the world that they are knowledgeable about nuclear processes.

Robert, Thank you for the Bad Science reference book recommendation. Gary is a trained physics scientist and a respected science journalist. He seems to be focused on health diets involving body fat reduction now.

Here is an interesting Review of Taubes'  Bad Science book; https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2725522750?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1

I won't expand my discussion on peer reviews in journals and public access published papers after my unforturnate experience with Tom over the The Lancet's peer reviews of reported pandemic virus research on this forum. I always appreciate the recommendation of good reference books for my small reference library. I am interested about the truth of how things work or don't work in the cosmos and under microscopes, whether they be macro or micro events, functions, and processes.

We never stop learning. My partial disability incident in March has slowed me dpwn some, but I am still interested in certain subjects more than others in light of the iirregular information war that is being conducted on humanity. There seems to be a lot of "bad science" being reported in the mass media nowadays for mostly global political puposes and population control reasons. That manipulation of scientific facts issue and hidden agendas never seems to change for humanity over the milleniums since the Greeks observed that the earth is a 3-D round sphere and not on a flat plain in space as many believed during the time of Pythagoras, (and even later.) I have never been a skilled mathematician except with basic algebra and certain geometry equations for use in financial ROI studies and aerospace system of systems operation trade study evaluations - LOL! wink

Cheers,

Al

JFK's Asassination - it was revealed in the government report that even his own Secret Service driver turned around and shot him. There were multiple active shooters reported to be present at the time of the shooting. It was the day that the DNC changed from being the party who JFK and Bobby Kennedy led to being the divisionists and highly partisan party they are today. Some Republicans were also part of the treasonous act. JFK wanted to dissolve the Western Central Bank and firmly reestablish the US gold-backed currency in place of the "fiat' Federal Reserve Note dollar debt system during his presidency. The US Military establishment failed to protect JFK, Robert, AND MLK from our own domestic terrorists. Their legacy still haunts us today.

On a lighter note:

Happy Thanksgiving Day!, Pirates!

We have a lot to be thankful for today -- especially if you can still read this greeting in freedom...smiley

                       Pons and Fleischmann Experiment

The experiment did release a large amount of energy that could not be accounted for by the electrical current or any chemical reaction. Aside from the argument about cold fusion, all parties agreed that there was a nuclear reaction. Besides the energy release, there was an increase or decrease in the palladium isotope weights - which could only be caused by neutrons within the cathode. Various strange nuclear reactions were theorized - except nuclear fission of the deuterium oxide (heavy water).

An electrical "jolt" can break apart the deuterium nucleus. Experments showed large energy release for as long as 200 hours. They had to add heavy water as time went on.

No nuclear fusion occurred.

Greg, "Bad Science" refutes each of your statements in great detail, from many sources including actual nuclear scientists.  The book is the result of years of investigation and has received high praise from the scientific community. The indisputable evidence is that P&F are huckster chemists who have a long history of conning uninformed investors. Equally clearly, more than three decades after P&F made their absurd claim, there still is no cold fusion energy production available today anywhere in the world, And apparently they are still duping investors.

Rather than offering one line contrary statements, any meaningful rebuttal needs to provide a comparable level of sources, expert statements and peer review.

My mother was a diehard Elvis fan, but I was not. I think he reminded her of the 1920's into the 1940's. My mother was the daughter of a couple that was from Virginia. Elvis Presley was an icon in the generation music change era. He seemed to depict the style of the classic movie era singers and smooth singing "crooners" like Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, etc.

R&B, Rock & Roll, folk-rock, and modern jazz music was changing the style of popular music in the movies, TV, and on the radio. The deep tones singing voice was being combined with falsetto singing voice parts.

I played trumpet and the french horn brass instruments in school bands before my high school days. I was never a singer, keybords player, or guitar player. French horn was my favorite brass instrument to play. I did not like to play in young amature orchestras that focused on violins and woodwind solos; most adolescent musicians in those instrument types were often out of key and struggling to have a smooth and pleasant output "delivery". Temperature and humidity seem to greatly effect the quality of playing string and reed instruments.

New groups and popular singers in the late 1950's into the 1980's used blends of group harmony singing, formal choir ensembles and symphonic orchestra musicians support, along with new keyboard synthasizers, evolving electric/acoustic guitar instrument combinations, brass and sax accompaniments, and highly mixed voice-over productions.

We liked the "Smooth Jazz" radio station when we lived in Puyallup (just before we retired.) We listen to a lot of modern Christian musc (like Hillsong United music) and 1980's era music now using Sirius Radio services in our car or the Internet at home.

We think the 1980's were the golden years for song production with a huge variety of groups, innovative musician accompaniments, lyrics, and singing voice types and styles.

I am not a "Acid Rock" '70's fan. i am an Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Moody Blues, Pink Ffloyd, Beachboys, Rolling Stones, Asia, Billy Squier, Doobie Brothers, and Chicago, Genesisi/Phil Collins/Mike & the Mechanics, Yes (band), 38 Special, Journey, Boston, and The Who fan. They are about as far away from the Elvis soft southern rock music style tat you can get. My favorites also date me...laugh

I made an extensive reading of articles about the Pons and Fleischmann experiment. Half the articles were of no use since they were simply diatribes. I did not find any reference to or mention of nuclear fission. Can you post any reference made about nuclear fission?

I plainly said it was not nuclear fusion.

It seems that the heavy water is the key to some potential energy harvesting and to be used as a proven solar storm and small reactor emission particles radiation schield. Since none of us are directly involved except in this computer armchair and Internet network discussion of cold fusion energy research experiments, can we agree that the the search is still open to theory discussions and accept some of the observed change and output results from the energy generation experiment?

Anything involved with investor funding risk and financialloss is the responsibilty of the investor(s) to do due diligence about the science maturity of the technology applications, materials, conduct of the experiment processes, control measures, validation and verification plan, and the R&D experiment design. There is no scientific "advancement" without taking on some risks. Peer reviews by non-participent "experts" should be considered, but they don't always reduce investor or experiment output success risks.

My experience and obervations in advanced technology assessments is that if you have scientists running around in white coats "managing" the experiment and V&V test processes, then you don't have a developmentally mature process or useful integrated materials technology appication. Experiment "success" does not prove that you can successfully reproduce the R&D item, the process, or desired energy output from the proposed prototype energy genertion device, no matter how many subject matter experts you have review the experiment and reported R&D  Validation & Verification (V&V) test results. The experiment always has risks. No system requirements and specifications goals development before lab work and thorough test V&V processes planning can yield few sgnificant results for any useful peer review or repeatable results substantiation. All R&D projects should be conducted with clear requirements, responsible researcher actions and experimentation dicipline. Money, dishonest peer relationships, and ego (academic politics) always seem to inhibit, alter, or hide good science lab results. The COVID response is a good example of extremely bad medical, biological, and public health science.

I was recently getting this message quoted below from my Firefox browser program when I accessed this website address by a bookmark that has always worked for me with my email name and my password in the past:

"Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.highlinehighschool1964.com. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details."

I have never received this message before and I have not updated my browser software recently. I do not update my computer's operation software automatically.

Is anyone else receiving this message when you attempt to connect to this website? Since it has https security and I don't purchase anything online at this site, why would i get a message like this?

Century Link repaired our damaged DSL line on 19 Jan. 2023. Maybe the poor connection on my end was the reason I received the message above. [Posting is revised on 19 Jan. 2023.]
