Sadly, this country has become so divided that it has even filtered down to this little old website.  I have always enjoyed reading the differences of opinion, whether I agree with all is not the point. My preference would be to continue the website.  Gary, I have always appreciated what you do by keeping this going.

Thanks Gary for keeping the site going as I read it from time to time and appreciate the diversity of opinions. Also many thank to Bill for the quote/poem on life. It reminds me of a statement that one of my school superinendent friends said at one of his presentations years ago: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today if the present, that's why we call it a gift." Enjoy each day as it is all that we have as time passes all too quickly. A great read is The Clock Mirage, Our myth of measured time, by Joseph Mazur.One element of time as measured by quartz crystals, give off a frequency vibration of 32,768 oscillations er second. Then we have atomic clock that uses the cesium-133 atom, which oscillates at a rate of 9,192,631,770 oscillationations per second. No wonder those clocks are the mose accurate in the world. Then outside of the world, what is time?

And by the way, for those of us who were unable to get to the reunion, would be interested to know how many of our classmates showed up for roll call, if there's a list of the attendees, did everyone comport themselves as ladies and gentlemen, and whether you or others have photos from the event.

I, too, like reading about our classmates.  I don't care if political postings are on the site, I read them all regardless of stance as long as they aren't malicious and are written without slander.  If I don't agree I just don't have to read them but I do to get both sides.  It is great to hear from all that participate and hear their stories. 

I too would like the site to continue.

You are both much appreciated for all you do for the rest of us by keeping this site going.   I am sure that you had no idea what taking on this project would be like 60+ years ago. You do all of the work and we reap the benefits, so the question is ....has it become a burden for you to continue.

First, I appreciate all the work that's gone into starting and maintaining this forum. Thank you.

Second, I also appreciate the diversity of views, and find it interesting to see that many of the same people who were full of crap in high school are the ones who are full of crap today, and are even easier to ignore than they were then. So, let 'em spout off, they'll just make fools of themselves, and may occasionally say something interesting. 

Incidentally, moving to a different country gives a whole new perspective on American politics and perceptions.
