Man Killed in 3-car crash on city bridge.

Gary Lee Snelling, 27, a security officer at Highline Community College, was killed yesterday when the car he was driving and another vehicle collided head on in the northbound lanes of the first Avenue South Bridge.  Police say Snelling died at the scene of the accident.  A passenger in his car, Katherine L. Cochran was unconscious when taken to Harborview Medical Center. She was reported in serious condition with multiple fractures.  (She later died)

Snelling's small, foreign auto and a car driven by Thomas Michael Larner collided near the Michigan Street off-ramp on the bridge, officers said, after the southbound Larner car had hit the rear of another northbound vehicle.  Larner was taken to Burien General Hospital with leg and mouth cuts.
