September 11, 1946 to November 6, 2010

Steven James Hosier, 64, of Sandpoint, ID died Saturday November 6, 1020 at his home.

He was born Sept. 11, 1946 in Seattle, WA the son of Verl and Shirley Hosier. He was raised and attended schools in Burien, WA. He joined the U.S. Army in 1965 where he served in Viet Nam. He was discharged in 1967. Following his military service he went to work for Ma Bell Telephone Company where he worked for 25 years. Steven married Delores Guzman and they have been together for 25 years. Following his retirement in 2003 he and Delores moved to Sandpoint where he has since resided.

Steven enjoyed woodworking, and in fact had a side business with Ray Mortenson constructing storage sheds.

He is survived by his wife Delores of Sandpoint; 1 sister: Sheila Coley of Antioch, CA; and by 2 nieces and 1 nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted 10:00AM, Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 at Coffelt Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Jon Pomeroy of the Sandpoint Church of God officiating
