Bill and I met in 4th grade when I moved into his neighborhood in Normandy Park. We remained close through graduation from Highline. Bill then went his way joining the Navy Air and I went mine joining the regular Navy. We stayed in close touch via email over the years and met for lunch in the 80's in San Jose when he was in town for business. I shared many childhood memories with Bill and his family as you can imagine.

There was quite a group of us that started out together at Normandy Park Elementary. I know I have many special memories of Bill and I know there are many other that shared Bill's friendship and have stories of their own. He was very active with his friends in Band at HHS, many that I became friends with because of Bill.

Bill died April 9, 2001, he was 55.

I miss Bill a lot.

Bill was fun to be around all through grade school and up through graduation.  He had a great sense of humor and was a good storyteller.  Looking at his picture brings back lots of good memories.

Bill and I along with Tom Nixon and Tom Aparico were all in the Highline band together all trying to play the trumpet. We had a lot of fun together during those high school years. He did way to young and I think of him oftern. Rest in Peace my brother.
