I was pretty much deleting all notices from this site. I agree exchange emails if you want to debate your philosophies or political opinions. This is not the forum. Thanks to those who spoke up and to those who owned their part in this.

Well, I appreciate all the insights you gentlemen have had, all the referrals to articles, etc.  I hope you guys do continue, along with others, in friendly banter.  Cartoons, of course, are always great!  As one post said, we do live in a great country and once again we will get through this.  Good Day to all!

I do hope all of you will use this Message Forum as a way to stay in touch with each other because that is how it was intended.

I have had some requests how to unclutter your e-mail inbox somewhat if you want to. Here is how -

Log into our website, then under member function on the left side of main page click on notify me, then on the 4th line which says a new response is posted to the message forum, then change that from once daily to never.

Then you can leave it that way or change it back or just log in and click message forum whenever you want.

Now I hope everybody will just play nice.

Gary - Thanks so much for the insights, what fantastic messages you gave as well as extra solutions to take if needed.  Thanks again. I know I speak for many when I say: "Everything you have done and continue to do to make our high school memories enjoyable is VERY much noticed and appreciated!"

Karen

Gary,

I concur with all of the 'thank you's' above.

When you 'volunteered' for this job, you probably didn't think about the fact that at 70 plus, you would still be so involved with all of us  'old people'.  Your continued efforts are very much appreciated.

Bill,

Thank you for injecting the humor that you have been posting. Please keep it up.

Gary,

Many thanks for the years you have put into caring for this site. Hopefully many more will feel free to connect and "play nice" as you asked.

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!

Those were the days: start the day with cartoons and then after a full day of play outside come in to watch Lawrence Welk and Gunsmoke. Simple and beautiful. Thanks for the memories, Bill

Anyone fortunate enough to have one of these beauties in your living room?

It brings back memories of Walt Disney on Sunday nights after the dishes were done, morning cartoons and Roy Rogers. Nostalgic memories of the 'good old days'.

I haven't contributed much to this web site for a while, so I guess I'll change the subject a bit. My wife & I fell head over heels in love with a 2-month old baby back in March of 2014, and by the end of that summer, we were talking about adopting him. At the time, we weren't sure that DSHS would even let us adopt because of our ages, but over the next 9 months or so, a number of truly miraculous things happened, all of which we sincerely believe was God's doing, and in July of 2015, a judge in Shelton awarded him to us, and the adoption was officially completed that November. It's been a real experience ever since, but today we are TRULY blessed with a handsome little 6-1/2 year old son who's intelligent, inquisitive, creative, energetic, humorous, happy and loving. He's a Star Wars fanatic, enjoys playing army, baseball and Mario, and his fingers are faster on his Nintendo games than my eyes can even follow. He is just as much a child of ours as are our other 3 children, and we couldn't possibly love him any more than we do. I can truly say that my entire life has been worth living just to have him be a part of it. I praise God for everything He's done in our family.

Blessings to all of you!
